RED HOT GLORY (Ghost Dancer Cash x QH/Arab) Glory is broke to ride and has done some playdays. She has had one foal, shown below, by our stallion. At this time we are cutting back our broodmare band, so Glory is being offered for sale. She is well behaved, leads, loads, ties, stands very well for the farrier and is rope smart - meaning that she can be tied out on a picket pin. Glory is alert but not spooky and she has smooth and pretty movement to her gaits. I think that she would make a good youth horse, but is not for a very beginner because she has some speed to her. Glory is offered at $1,200 but all serious offers would be considered.

SHADO'S RED HOT HANNA (A Glimpz of Shado X Red Hot Glory) This filly is only 3 hours old in the photo. Hanna is Glory's first foal and look at that gorgeous color! Such classic contrast with a cute little blanket. It looks like Hanna got all of her sire and dam's best qualities. This little filly is bred for gaming and endurance as versatile as the classic Appaloosa can be. Hanna is offered at $850 until she is weaned, and then her price will increase as we put more training into her.

Hanna's first meal and is she going to town on it! Very vigorous feeder is our little Hanna, and that is sure tell that she will grow up strong.

WHITE FIRE LEGACY aka Angel She is a pretty black/white leopard mare registered as 83% FPD with the ApHC. She is tall at almost 16 hands and built with a lean frame. Angel is barely greenbroke and she has some issues with being food protective since she was starved before we got her. She has a dominant personality in the herd but loves her humans and readily gives to you. Angel is anxious to please and will do just about anything to get a horse treat. She loves attention and is very companionable. She has had 2 foals, to my knowledge, but I do not recommend her as a broodmare. Angel carries the graying gene. Because of her history, Angel is not suitable for a beginner or a first time horse owner unless all you want is a pasture ornament. Angel's price is negotiable to the right home.

LUCKIS HEART O GOLD This beautiful red roan near leopard/large snowcap filly is reluctantly offered for sale at $2,200 and all reasonable offers will be considered. Lucki is going to be a big girl, she is only 3 months old in this picture. She is officially 90% FPD with the ApHC, her sire is Lucki Macho Sparki (picture on Reference page), her dam is Gold Ace Heartbreak (picture on Broodmares page). Lucki has strong Bandido Bar breeding (Sundae Tiger, Joker, Prince Plaudit, Freckles Bandit), on both her top and bottom side, plus Peavy and Wapiti. Lots of ROM champions in her background.
|
Lucki is curious and intelligent, as well as quick and flexible. She has built up a lot of muscle as she runs laps around her pasture for play. Lucki also tucks her knees and jumps like a deer when she encounters the few fallen logs. She could be a reining or jumping/hunter prospect. Lucki could also be an excellent future breeding prospect, with her breeding, conformation and color. This color pattern and breeding will always produce colored foals, and frequently foals with very loud color.

Here is a recent (July 2007) photo of Lucki, the others are about 6 months old. You can see what a beautifully shaped head she has and that her mane is coming in dark this year. She is showing us just what a large horse she is going to become when she is full grown. I sometimes forget that she only looks small next to the 17 hand gelding that is her babysitter. When I get her out next to one of the other horses, I have to remind myself that she is only a yearling when she is the same size as the 2 year olds.
|
Lucki has nice big and powerful hindquarters that are proportionally correct for a Foundation Appaloosa. Her legs are well set and well formed, giving her excellent driving power for any task. It doesn't hurt that she has the cute little "moustache" mark above her tail. The bright deep red of her tail and mane will contrast nicely with her mostly white body for an eye-catching color combination in the show ring.
|
Lucki leads, loads in a trailer (2-horse enclosed type), and stands well for the farrier. She isn't crazy about the bathing yet, but we are working on it. She is pretty dirty in this pictures, but if you know how wet it has been in Texas for the last 8 months, you would understand. Lucki has also been started on the lunge line. She learns very quickly and it should be no time before she has that all down pat.

*** SOLD***SOLD***SOLD***
ROSIE is an 8 year old half Arabian half POA mare. She is also reluctantly offered for sale at $1,100 but all reasonable offers will be considered. This little mare is about 12.3 hands tall and is pictured with a 12 year old girl riding her. The only reason we are offering Rosie for sale is that she is just a little too much for our 3 year old grandson to ride right now and we feel that she would be happier with a child of her own to give her love and attention. She would be a perfect Christmas gift for a child of 7 to 11 years of age.
